Ryan Borland, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California dedicated to fostering resilience, authentic connection, and meaningful personal growth. He earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University (now UMass Global) and is licensed to practice in the State of California.

Ryan is the owner and founder of Ryan Borland Therapy, where he provides LGBTQ+-affirming individual and couples therapy. His clinical work integrates evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT). He has experience supporting individuals and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, identity, neurodiversity, relationship challenges, and self-esteem difficulties. Ryan is known for creating warm, collaborative spaces that promote emotional resilience, relational strength, and deeper self-understanding.

He is an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and his local Southwest Riverside County CAMFT chapter, reflecting his commitment to ethical practice, ongoing education, and professional community.

Ryan’s therapeutic philosophy closely aligns with the mission of A Beautiful You (ABY), particularly its emphasis on empowerment, self-worth, and psychological well-being. His work centers on helping individuals recognize their inherent strengths, cultivate self-awareness, and build more connected, fulfilling lives.

Outside of his professional role, Ryan enjoys all things nerdy including Star Trek, Weird Al, and spending time with his husband and their dog.
