Jordan King - Biography

Jordan King is a Los Angeles–based organizer and educator who serves as Treasurer at A Beautiful You. Their professional work spans workplace democratization, electoral campaigns, public policy strategy, and civic education, bringing a specialized focus on advocacy and organizational sustainability to the board.

Harm reduction programs like ABY matter to Jordan because of their lived experience with mental health challenges and the failure of traditional institutions that often allow individuals to slip through the cracks. Jordan believes it was the divine timing of art, story, and community that provided the care they needed at a pivotal moment—a belief that fuels their passion for ensuring others can access that same sanctuary of support through ABY’s programming.
